Brendan Rodgers leaves Swansea City for Liverpool

Brendan Rodgers has left Swansea City and is now set to be named as Liverpool's new manager.

Sources close to the Welsh premier league team confirmed that Rodgers has told Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins of his intentions to move to Anfield this week.

His appointment at Liverpool could be officially confirmed in the next 24 hours.

Reports suggest that Liverpool will pay up to £5m in compensation for the former Reading and Watford boss, and it is said that Brendan Rodgers will sign a three-year contract on Merseyside.

Has he made the right decision?

What next for Swansea City?
